The US Navy ship "USS Frank Cable" arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday making a goodwill visit, the Sri Lanka Navy said.

Upon her arrival, the Land-class Submarine Tender was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions.

During its four day stay, Ship's crew is to take part in an array of programmes including several games of Cricket, Baseball and Basketball with their local naval counterparts. The ship is scheduled to leave the country on 1st September.
