The Reconciliation Walk organize by the Human Rights Organization arrived in Vavuniya yesterday.

The walk began from Jaffna on August 25 and is expected to reach Hambantotoa on September 7. It will travel a distance of 540 kilo metres through Anuradhapura, Puttalam, Negombo and Galle.

Organizers said that they were expecting the participation of around 4000 members of the Human Rights Organization and other organizations and around 500 participants from the north.
