The government is preparing to sell 50 government institutions said JVP provincial councilor and Convener of the Voice Against Corruption Wasantha Samarasinghe.

He mentioned this while participating a conference in Thanamalvila recently. 

He further stated that the list includes Sevanagala and Pelawatta sugar factories. Most of the land in Colombo are already sold. There is nothing much left to be sold, he said.

Samarasinghe also argued that the silence of good people is a greater hurdle in overcoming the situation and changing it is the biggest challenge.
