A helicopter carrying two ministers to Nuwara Eliya made an emergency landing to a vegetable plot in Katumanne, Seetha Eliya today.

Ministers Sajith Premadasa and Navin Dissanayake met with this incident while traveling to Nuwara Eliya. It had been scheduled to land at the Race Course Ground at Nuwara Eliya.

The helicopter was flying low due to the mist this morning when the pilot saw high tension electric wires in the area, and decided to make the emergency landing. No one was hurt in the incident.
