Indian Coast Guard Ship "Samarth' arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday on a goodwill visit, SL Navy said.

Upon the arrival, the ship was ceremonially welcomed by the Sri Lanka Navy in accordance with naval traditions.

Subsequently, the Commanding Officer of the ship, Captain Anand Prakash Badola called on the Commander Western Naval Area at the Western Naval Command Headquarters in Colombo.

"Samarth' is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on August 20.
