The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption filed five cases against Major Neville Wanniarachchi, a former security officer of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, in Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.

Wanniarachchi is accused of not declaring his assets and liabilities from 2010 to 2014 while he was a major in the army.

The commission has filed five cases for the five years he has not submitted the statements of assets and liabilities.
