A Pakistani national was arrested last night at Katunayake BIA with a haul of heroin.

The 44 year-old has arrived in Katunayake from Karachi and had concealed the heroin in his luggage.

The total value of the heroin is estimated at Rs 7 million.

Police Narcotics Bureau is conducting further investigations.
