The Joint Opposition is meaninglessly shouting against the Office of Missing Persons Act and has taken no action against it, Minister of Rural Economic Affairs P. Harrison said.
He made this observation addressing the media during an observation visit in Vavuniya.
Minister further said that the Joint Opposition still has not suggested any amendments to the act. They are completely acting, he argued.
President Maithripala Sirisena is trying to keep the peace and only the extremists in the Joint Opposition are trying to disturb this attempt, Harrison stated.
