An investigation has been launched regarding another set members of Sri Lank Freedom Party who criticized the leadership and the party, SLFP sources said.

Accordingly, they have criticized the party and gone against the party principles during the recent past.

It is reported that there is a Member of Parliament who represent the 'Joint Opposition' among the members who are being investigated for violating party discipline.

The investigation is conducted by viewing media statements given by the said members over last recent past.

The SLFP has already decided to initiate disciplinary proceedings against MP Sanath Nishantha and a group of former local government representatives from Kurunegala District.
