UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the FCID to give a statement of the purchase of stocks in a private company named Gowers Corporation allegedly owned by him.

There is an ongoing court case pertaining to the said allegation.

Rajapaksa revealed yesterday that he was summoned to the FCID, which he described as a branch of Sirikotha, the UNP head office.
