UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be visiting Sri Lanka by end of this month, government sources said.

He has first indicated his intention of visiting the country in June at the sessions of the UNHRC.

The government has already held discussions with the UN officials on the security detail to be provided for the Secretary General while in Sri Lanka, sources said.
