The Attorney General has recommended that four individuals including Tiran Alles and Emil Kanthan should be indicted over the RADA case.
The AG made this recommendation filing a report with the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court yesterday.
They are accused of misappropriating funds provided to reconstruct houses for people who lost their homes during the 2004 Tsunami.
In 2015, Tiran Alles was questioned by Police over the alleged provision of money to Tiger guerrillas through the Reconstruction and Development Agency (RADA), of which he was the Chairman. It is alleged that Emil Kanthan, a former LTTE financier, facilitated this deal.
Emil Kanthan had not been named a suspect in the RADA case before this report by the AG.
Meanwhile, four others who were involved in the case have been released according to the recommendations by the AG.
