Niluka Karunaratne lost the first of his three preliminary round games in 2016 Rio Olympics badminton a short while ago.

Karunaratne lost to China's Chen Long by 2-0 sets.

He competes in Group P and will face a Polish and a Guatamalan player on August 13 and August 15, Sri Lanka time.
