Sri Lanka's Niluka Karunaratne will be competing in his first match at the Rio Olympics men's badminton tournament today.

He will face China's Chen Long in his first match in Group P.

This is Karunaratne's second Olympics. In 2012, he made history by defeating the then world number 8 ranked Kenichi Tago of Japan at the London Olympics.
