After thirteen days, university non-academic staff strike action was ended on Monday.

A joint agreement was signed after a discussion held between the Minister of Higher Education and Highways and the non-academic staff members. They will be reporting back to service from today (9).

On 27 July, the non-academics commenced the strike action regarding seven demands to be met. As a result, all the activities of state universities throughout the country were on hold.
