Sri Lanka's Kimiko Raheem failed to progress to the semi finals of the women's 100m backstroke at 2016 Rio Olympics.

Participating in heat 2, she finished fourth with a time of 1:04.26.

She finished 28th among the swimmers who took part. The first 16 went through for the semi-finals.
