UPFA MP Sanath Nishantha Perera vowed legal action against his suspension from the Sri Lanka Freedom Party by the Central Committee.

The decision to suspend Perera was taken by the Central Committee last night. Disciplinary action is to be launched against him.

It is alleged that the MP criticized the party leadership in an interview to the media.

However, Sanath Nishantha today said that he made immense sacrifices for the party and therefore he cannot be suspended in an ad hoc manner.
