Singer MG Dhanushka surrendered to Colombo Chief Magistrate's court today through a lawyer after an arrest warrant was issued on him yesterday.

He was then released on a personal bail of Rs 25,000.

He was issued a warrant over the failure to appear in court yesterday for the case regarding his alleged performance of popular songs of the late singer MS Fernando without permission.

The two parties have reportedly settled the case after Dhanushka gave an undertaking not to perform Fernando's songs without permission from his family.
