Minister of Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructure Harin Fernando yesterday said that free WiFi service will be expanded to 400 locations across the island.

He pointed out that the free WiFi service is already available in 255 sites.

The speed of the WiFi service will also be doubled, he said.

Meanwhile, he said that all preparations are complete for the launch of Google Loon balloons.
