Two people were remanded after being produced before the Kandy Magistrate for allegedly attacking an ambulance near Getambe Temple on July 28, the first day of the 'Jana Satana' paada yathra.

The protesters attacked the vehicle alleging there was no patient inside and that the ambulance was sent to deliberately interrupt the march.

Peradeniya Police arrested the two individuals yesterday.
