The Kegalle Magistrate Gayan Meegahage ordered the 'Jana Satana Paada Yatra' marchers to occupy only the track from Kandy to Colombo in their march within the city limits.

If the Kegalle HQI deems the road necessary for another purpose, the march can take the by-road starting from Meepitiya Junction and ending at Ranwala Junction, the Magistrate directed.

The order was given when the police requested an order barring the march from entering the city limits.

The order was handed over to UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage by the Police this morning at Uthuwankande.
