Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Dhammika Ranatunga today settled the case with a photojournalist from Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation over an alleged threat.

Ranatunga made this threat on March 16 outside the Colombo High Court.

On March 24, the Colombo Chief Magistrate released Ranatunga on bail and referred the matter to a mediation board.

The magisterial inquiry was closed today after both parties announced their intention to settle the matter.
