At approximately 9:20 a.m. local time, a suicide bombing took place in the Al-Halaliyah District of Qamishli City in Syria, killing and wounding several people in the process.

According to a local source in Al-Qamishli, a VBIED (vehicle borne improvised explosive device) was used by the suicide bomber in the Al-Halaliyah District, which is currently governed by the PYD.

Russia's RIA Novosti says at least 25 were killed and around 100 hospitalized.
