Nalanda College Principal Ranjith Jayasundara, the Deputy Principal and a teacher in charge of discipline were released on bail by Colombo Additional Magistrate Mohamed Mihal over an alleged assault.

A father of a student of the College had complained to the Borella Police that the principal and others have threatened his son.

The three were released on two sureties of Rs 50,000 each.
