Former Minister Basil Rajapaksa today filed a revision application in Colombo High Court seeking bail over alleged misappropriation of Divineguma funds for the supply of GI pipes to local government authorities.

The bail application seeks the overturn of the decision by the Kaduwela Magistrate on July 18 not to grant him bail. Rajapaksa was arrested that day by the FCID and charged under the Public Properties Act.
