JVP leader and Chief Opposition W hip Anura Kumara Dissanayake became the most active politician in Sri Lanka's Parliament, according to manthri.lk rankings.
Dissanayake's party colleague, Parliamentarian Sunil Handunnetti was ranked second, securing the two top positions for the country's largest centre-left political party.
UNP Matara District Parliamentary secured the third position while Prime Minister Ranil wickremesinghe, the most influential policy maker in the House was ranked fourth.
JVP Parliamentarian Nalinda Jayatissa became the fifth most active policy maker in the country.
Three of the six JVP Parliamentarians were among the top five policy makers listed by manthri.lk, a website operated by Verite research.
Interestingly, none of the SLFP or Joint Opposition MPs was among the top five most active policy makers in the House, despite the SLFP having 95 seats in the country's legislature.
