Telangana IT, NRI Affairs and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao has received an invitation for an international level summit to be held in Sri Lanka next month.
The Sri Lanka Human Capital Summit 2016 extended an invitation to KTR to address in its international summit slated to be held at Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo on August 11 and 12.
The minister was asked to deliver key-note address in the island nation along with Sri Lanka Prime Minister Ranil Wikramesinghe on “Building a future ready workforce- Indian Experience” and many other top notch personalities including World Bank Director Dr Amit Dar and others. A precursor to the Sri Lanka Human Capital Round Table, the summit aims to develop a national agenda to support Sri Lanka’s economic growth plans. Besides World Bank, Asian Development Bank and International Labour Organisation are collaborating the event to deal with wide gamut of sectors and opportunities in tourism, hospitality, technology, financial, logistics, construction and manufacturing. The Sri Lank Government plans to roll out a policy to provide 10 lakh jobs to youth by 2020 and invited KTR to talk on Indian policies, training programs, changing trends and preparing youth for jobs.
Key-note address is on how the Federal Administration of India enhances the employability and competitiveness of employees and job seekers, thereby building a workforce to cater to the changing needs of Indian Economy. Expressing glee at the invitation, the IT Minister noted that he will address in the summit on TASK offering training to youth to compete with World and T Hub for tapping new ideas, giving opportunities for research for innovative plans.
