The Adampan Police has discovered a stock of seven Johnny mines from a forest area near a Kovil in Vettiyamurippu, Adampan in Mannar.

The police made this discovery following a tip off.

The mines are not in serviceable condition and will be destroyed after obtaining a court order, police said.
