Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and UPFA MP Namal Rajapaksa appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigations Division this morning to record separate statements.

Gotabaya Rajapaksa arrived at the FCID earlier in the morning and Namal Rajapaksa arrived a short while ago.

Namal Rajapaksa is said to be summoned concerning a complaint regarding the misplacement of Rs 70 million during the former government's era.
