At least twelve people have been injured in an explosion at an Eid congregration at Kishoreganj area of Bangladesh on Thursday. Local media report that one police constable has been killed in the attack.

The blast took place near the entrance of what is being reported as Bangladesh’s largest Eid congregation.

The incident has happened just a few days after six armed men entered a cafe in Dhaka and killed 20 people including an Indian national Tarishi Jain.

ISIS had warned of more attacks in Bangladesh. The country was on a high alert because of security concerns during the Eid festival.
