The current water cut in several areas in Colombo and the suburbs will continue until 3pm, the National Water Supply and Drainage Boards said.

Water supply was discontinued last evening in these areas due to a damaged pipeline. The NWSDB initially said that the water cut will be in effect from 6.00 p.m. yesterday to 6 a.m. today.

Bambalaitiya, Kollupitiya, Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia Municipal Council area, Pelawatta and Ambathale areas are affected by the water cut.
