Colombo Chief Magistrate Gihan Pilapitiya today directed the former LTTE interpreter George Master to be released from the Magisterial Inquiry on him and former LTTE media spokesman Daya Master.

This directive was given following Attorney General's instructions, which were informed to the court.

Meanwhile, no instructions were received regarding Daya Master and the Magisterial Inquiry was fixed for December 5.

Daya Master and George Master surrendered to the security forces in the last days of the war. They have been reintegrated to the society.
