Kumar Sangakkara on Wednesday fiercely criticized by Sachin Tendulkar and Indian cricket fans as he omitted the 'God of Cricket' from his all-time XI.
The Twitter handle of Lord's Ground on Tuesday posted a short video, which had the former Sri Lankan skipper picking his side.
Sangakkara opted for Rahul Dravid over Tendulkar in his playing XI. Barring 'The Wall', no other Indian cricketer found a mention in Sanga's team.
Sachin's fans could not believe the fact that the stylish left-hander had no place for a batsman with 100 international hundreds on his resume.
On being repeatedly questioned, Kumar offered a clarification over Tendulkar's omission.
According to the 38-year-old, he wanted to include not just Sachin but also Virender Sehwag but it was impossible to fit them in the team.
The cricket-mad Indian fans however were in no mood to buy into Sang's theory.
Here is how Tendulkar's fans reacted to the development on Twitter.
