On several occasions she made attempts to instruct the lawyer inside the court room while the case was being heard, which led to her being reprimanded.
The Additional Magistrate observed that it was wrong to instruct the lawyers inside the court room.
Being a lawyer herself, Wanniarachchi should be aware of the process inside the court room, the Additional Magistrate also said.
The case which was being heard concerned an incident where Wanniarachchi had paid an individual Rs 2 million for a house in Subhuthipura, Battaramulla. However, the individual had failed to give her a house as promised.
