The death toll from yesterday's bus-van collision in Ballapana, Galigamuwa, has climbed up to seven.

A bus collided head-on with a van in Ballapana, Galigamuwa along the Colombo- Kandy road yesterday. Three people were pronounced dead almost immediately, while ten were injured and were hospitalized. Some of them were in critical condition.

A Mawanella-Colombo bus was involved in the accident. Heavy traffic was reported following the accident.
