The Sri Lanka Army has appointed two Courts of Inquiry to investigate in to the misplaced documents in the cases pertaining to the disappearance of journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda and murder of Lasantha Wickramatunga.
In a statement released yesterday, the Army also dismissed allegations that they did not support in investigations into the murder of former Editor-in-Chief of the Sunday Leader Lasantha Wickrematunge.
The statement added that the Army is committed to uphold the law, and will not oppose judicial action against any of its personnel who may be responsible.
