General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera visited Pivithuru Hela Urumaya General Secretary Udaya Gammanpila at the remand prison in Colombo today.

Meanwhile a number of 'Joint Opposition' MPs also visited Gammanpila.

Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardena, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Dallas Alahapperuma, Kumara Welgama, Gamini Lokuge, Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena, Prasanna Ranaweera, Sisira Jayakody, Shehan Semasinghe and Kanaka Herath were among the MPs who visited Gammanpila.

Udaya Gammanpila was remanded on June 18 by the Fort Magistrate over an alleged use of a fake power of attorney to sell assets belonging to an Australian in 1997.
