Olympic Silver medallist Susanthika Jayasinghe was admitted to the Gampaha Hospital following an assault.

According to the police, her husband has been arrested by Weliweriya Police on suspicion over the incident.

Susanthika Jayasinghe is currently receiving treatment at the Gampaha Hospital for injuries sustained in the attack.
