A stock of drugs believed to be cocaine was discovered inside a container which had arrived from Brazil by officials at the Orugodawatta container yard.

The drugs were found inside three bags inside the container, which was registered as a shipment of sugar.

The drugs weigh around 91 kilograms.

Police Narcotics Bureau conduct further investigations.
