Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella appeared before the Financial Crimes Investigations Division to give a statement.

Police sources said that he was summoned to obtain a statement regarding the release of Rs 200 million for his medical expenses during the era of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government.

The FCID questioned former Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunga on the matter in late May.
