The Anti Corruption Front claims that there is an attempt to erase all data regarding the controversial bond issue at the Central Bank.

A senior officer has instructed two officers of the Central Bank to erase the data, the Anti-corruption Front claimed. However, the two junior officers have refused to carry out the instructions, the ACF also said.

The attempt to erase the date is been carried out at a time when Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran is facing the possibility of not been reappointed at the end of his term, the Anti-Corruption Front further stated.
