A supplementary estimate of Rs 17 million was recently presented to the Parliament to construct a building in the premises of the Official Residence of former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga.

The estimate has been presented by Minister Gayantha Karunathilaka under the President's allocations.

This supplementary estimate has been overshadowed by the larger supplementary estimate of Rs 1,180 million for vehicles for ministers.
