Only one death has been reported so far, following the fire broke out at the Salawa Army camp in Kosgama yesterday, health authorities said. 

However, they also added that the death toll is expected to go up today. 

Ten people were admitted to Homagama  and Avissawella  hospitals.

Meanwhile, 37 residents in the area were treated for breathing difficulties, Health Ministry sources said.

Meanwhile, people living over 1 km  radius from the Army camp have now been permitted to visit their houses.
