The Consumer Affairs Authority allowed for the increase of prices of 50kg cement bags sold under five commercial names by Rs 60.

Accordingly, the 50kg cement bag can now be sold at a maximum price of Rs 930.

The cement companies had made this request recently from the CAA, considering the devaluation of the Rupee and the increase of the Value Added Tax.
