Former Secretary to the President Lalith Weeratunge appeared before the FCID today to give a statement on an alleged fraudulent allocation of funds for some vehicles when he was the President's Secretary during the former government of Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Meanwhile, UPFA MP Jayantha Samaraweera also appeared before the FCID to give a statement over an alleged financial fraud at the Housing Development Authority when he was its Chairman.

Meanwhile, Avant-Garde Maritime Services Chairman Nissanka Senadhipathi also appeared at the FCID today.
