The Committee of Public Representations on Constitutional Reforms is to hand over the final report to Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe today.

Chairman of the Committee, Lal Wijenayake said that the report is soon to be released to the public.

Wijenayake said that over 5000 proposals are included in the final report. Some of them were written proposals and the rest of them were oral, he said.

The Committee of Public Representations on Constitutional Reforms, which was appointed to collect the public opinion on the new constitution is made of 20 members.
