The deadline to submit applications for 2016 G.C.E. O/L Examination was extended until June 10, the Examinations Department said.

Issuing a statement yesterday, the Commissioner General of Examinations W.M.N.J. Pushpakumara said the decision was taken considering severe weather conditions experienced in many parts of the country.

Accordingly, application forms of school candidates have been sent by post to the School Principals.

Private candidates must submit their applications in accordance with the Examination Department’s specimen application which will appear in national newspapers.
