The Ministry of Agriculture introduced a new 24-hour hotline for the public to inform of any crops, reservoirs, dams and bunds of canals damaged due to the recent heavy rainfall and floods in the country. 

Accordingly, the public can dial 1918 with effect from today 26 and provide information to the ministry regarding any such damage caused by the disaster situation.

The ministry said that the information will be relayed to relevant parties for consideration, in order to provide necessary relief as immediately as possible.
