North Province Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswaran took oath before the Governor of Northern Province Reginald Cooray as the Provincial Minister of Women’s Affairs, and Social Services and Rehabilitation.

His ministerial portfolio includes the Provincial Ministries of Finance and Planning, Law and Order, Land and Road Development, Electricity, Housing and Constructions, Industry and Entreprise Development, Tourism, and Local Governance and Provincial Councils.
