Heavy rains are hampering rescue missions in the landslide site at Aranayake as more than 120 people are still thought to be missing.
The massive landslide which hit the area on Tuesday buried three villages. The army was deployed for the rescue missions in the area.
The officer in charge of the rescue missions, Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe, told BBC last evening that 134 people are believed to be still missing.
